EuroWeek dinner raises £25,000 for Anchor House

14th February 2013

Anchor House was proud to be the chosen charity of the year for EuroWeek’s 10th Syndicated Loans & Leveraged Finance Awards which took place on 13th February, 2013.

The event saw the banks, investors, borrowers, lawyers and private equity houses come together at London’s Guildhall for their annual dinner – an evening of awards, charity and entertainment.

Guests were entertained by comedian Marcus Brigstocke who was excellent, and Anchor House supporter Sir Stephen O’Brien CBE who urged the guests to support our worthy cause.

The evening raised an incredible £25,000 and we would like to thank everyone who so generously donated. These donations are helping to turn around the lives of some of the most marginalised and vulnerable people and is invaluable.

The money raised will go towards our Appeal which aims to redevelop our 50 year old facilities – providing training suites and move-on accommodation – thereby increasing our services to the increasing demand of homeless people.

We would also like to thank EuroWeek, who have been amazing, for their extremely valuable support of our work.
