Christmas Fair at St Mark's Community Centre

St Mark’s Community Centre in Beckton is turning festive this weekend as it holds its 2016 Christmas Fair.

The fair is taking place on Saturday 10th December, 12-4pm, and all are welcome to join in the festive family fun. Activities on the day will include art and crafts, face painting, carol singing and dance performances.

Caritas Anchor House will have a stall at the event where people can learn more about our vital work with homeless and vulnerable people in Newham.

St Mark’s Community Centre, managed by Caritas Anchor House, offers varied facilities and activities to community members, including services for disabled people, a social club for those who are deaf, sports and fitness classes and recreational activities for the elderly.

Keith Fernett, Chief Executive of Caritas Anchor House, said, “St Mark’s Community Centre provides vital services to community members all year round, and we’re delighted to be able to add in some festive fun to our usual offerings this December.”
