Anchor House staff to visit National Exhibition on Drugs and Alcohol
During April, four key members of the Anchor House team are to visit a national exhibition on drugs and alcohol.
This is the largest event in the UK for GPs, shared care workers, service users, nurses and other primary care staff, specialists, commissioners and researchers interested in and involved with the management of drug and alcohol users in primary care.
Key areas of interest for the team will be around the issues faced in getting people with alcohol and drug issues back into the workplace and workforce development. They are also looking forward to meeting people working in this field who are addressing the issue of returning to work.
The team are looking forward to exploring the very latest news surrounding the development of best practice methods and they will be keen to explore and develop strategic alliances and relationships with other practitioners.
