With the 2012 Olympic games coming to a close, London's East End looks forward to the delivery of affordable housing in the area as promised by the London mayor. But what exactly is affordable?

As Anchor House Director Keith Fernett tells  BBC Newsnight, in a borough where there are 35,000 people on the housing waiting list, renting a £750 pm house is not an option.
